Power Test

This event is for all competitors aged 18 years and above. Two techniques will be performed, one hand and one leg. Each competitor will choose the number of boards they wish to attempt for each technique and tell the referees prior to the event.

Hand techniques: Elbow or Knifehand

Leg techniques: Side Kick or Turning Kick

In the event of a tie competitors must attempt the other leg technique they did not perform earlier. They may set the number of boards. A further tie moves to the other hand technique. Again they may choose the number of boards. In the event this still produces a tie, the umpire may select one of the four techniques and the number of boards until a result is achieved.

Should only one competitor break any board in the first round only a single Gold medal will be awarded.

Special Technique

The technique performed will be high flying side kick. Each competitor will be allowed one measure up and two attempts to hit the target without disturbing the hurdle.

Medals and/or Trophies

There will be 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal available for each division. This year, these are custom, exclusive Vision medals as shown below:

In each event, we guarantee that each competitor will have at least 2 rounds/attempts (provided there are more than 2 competitors in the division).

Overall competitors will be calculated over the 3 Vision competitions and awarded at the end of year.

Incorrect Entries / Admin Fee

This year we are introducing an Admin fee for any incorrect details on entries not corrected by March 2nd.

The fee is £5 (payable at registration). Failure to pay will render your entry void.

On the day of the competition if we have to move a competitor 2 divisions or more (usually 10cm+ or 10kg+ different to the entry) the same £5 penalty will apply.

Examples from past competitions include: someone apparently born in 199, someone with a height of 1cm and a 7 year old Black Tag.

Please ensure you are entering information as accurately as possible.

Appeals Procedure

Appeals against individual decisions or outcomes will not be considered by the Central Desk. However, should you feel that the draw has not been executed properly or that incorrect procedure has been adhered to, you may lodge an appeal.

To lodge an appeal, approach the Central Desk in a calm and respectful manner and state your case as clearly as possible. It is the decision of the Central Desk whether to pursue an investigation. After any potential investigation, the decision of the Central Desk is final. Grade of the appellant or their instructor will not influence the decision of the Central Desk.
